Here in Rookery Bay one can drop his boat in the water and paddle out to meet a Redfish, or just listen to the sounds of nature.

Shielded
from the road with natural jungle growth, this Naples beach access is
still recovering from Hurricane Wilma in 2005. In this case nature helps
protect man's development. The more the natural areas are paved under,
the more damage we humans incur.

Many
parts of Florida are very close to their natural state despite man's
effort to own them. In these places, given a few years to recover,
nature would reclaim what
man
has altered.
The tropical plant life at the edge of the parking lot is just biding
it's time until we're looking the other way.
